From generating new research and assessing curricular materials to hosting annual virtual and in-person gatherings centering JoC joy and creativity, these grants hold great promise for 2024.
Announcements and Partner Resources
We recently awarded four new grants in response to our Request for Proposals (RFP) aimed at supporting Jews of Color in small towns and emerging local communities. These grants mark an important expansion of our efforts, reaching beyond the more typical Jewish communal hubs like New York City or the Bay Area.
An effort of the JoCI Philanthropy Fellowship, we are pleased to launch a new open request for proposals (RFP) to support projects that focus on JoC intergenerational knowledge and relationships to preserve, evolve, and celebrate Jewish cultural traditions.
The Jews of Color Initiative is embarking on our next major research study. We seek a highly-talented research team to conduct a meta-analysis of available data to answer the question, how many Jews of Color will there be in 2025, 2030, 2040, 2050?
Our grantees are generating cutting-edge research, creating innovative programs, and advancing the field for Jews of Color. This page shares some of the current opportunities to engage with their work, such as participating in research studies.
Join the Jews of Color Initiative for a webinar to launch the 2023–2024 grantmaking cycle on September 6th
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Deitra Reiser, Mendel Davis, and Valerie Feldman.
Our newest grants amplify the incredible ongoing efforts of JoC leaders and allies who build the field for Jews of Color by expanding their efforts nationally, developing new resources, telling JoC stories, activating pipelines to spiritual leadership, and more.
