An effort of the JoCI Philanthropy Fellowship, we are pleased to launch a new open request for proposals (RFP) to support projects that focus on JoC intergenerational knowledge and relationships to preserve, evolve, and celebrate Jewish cultural traditions. Addressing the widespread loneliness prevalent in our community, grants of up to $15,000 will be made to organizations and projects that focus on celebrating, deepening, and preserving intergenerational JoC relationships, knowledge, and cultural traditions by and for JoC. Please join us to learn more.

Some projects of interest may include:

  • Creating resources or mixed media that celebrates and preserves JoC Jewish customs, traditions, or rituals (such as old and new Jewish ritual, music, and culinary traditions).
  • Educational programs or curriculum that highlight and preserve intergenerational JoC stories.
  • Building programs that foster intergenerational connections among JoC elders, children, kinfolk and chosen family.
