Puentes Leadership & Resiliency Fellowship

In Spanish, PUENTES means “bridges” – and, this year, Jewtina y Co. is seeking passionate Latin-Jewish educators ready to build powerful connections across Latin-Jewish communities. This transformative ten-month fellowship brings together educators from diverse settings – whether you teach in classrooms, camps, arts programs, outdoor spaces, or creative studios – to deepen leadership skills through a culturally-responsive lens. The fellowship includes three inspiring in-person retreats, monthly virtual learning sessions, and the opportunity to develop meaningful community projects. Fellows will join a vibrant network of Latin-Jewish leaders from all sectors who understand the unique power of holding multiple identities and using them to create change in their communities.

If you’re a Latin-Jewish educator passionate about cultural heritage, community building, and transformative education, we want you to be part of this incredible experience. Applications are open now through November 29th, 2024.

Keshet Neshamot/Rainbow Souls Shabbaton

This weekend retreat (taking place in Baltimore from Feb 7-9, 2025) is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ Jews of Color to have a fully immersive Shhabat experience and to create a community that celebrates and fosters joy, healing, and the beautiful intersections of being LGBTQ+, Jewish, and People of Color. The hope is that all of us who come out of Keshet Neshamot feel eager to engage in Jewish spaces as our full, fabulous, authentic selves!
