New Program: Jews of Color Initiative Launches Los Angeles Incubator with Support from Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles

The Jews of Color Initiative is expanding efforts to provide regionally specific programming and support to multiracial Jewish communities across the country. We are excited to launch a Los Angeles Incubator, modeled after our successful New York Incubator, now in its second iteration.

Application coming soon!

If you have an LA-based project you’re ready to take to the next level, or if you’d like to nominate someone for the LA Project Incubator, please fill out this form!

The LA Incubator will be a cohort-based leadership development program designed to support the growth of programs led by and serving Jews of Color in Los Angeles. Through this program, the Jews of Color Initiative is making LA Jewish life more multiracial, multiethnic, and inclusive, and innovating how the Jewish communal sector supports the leadership growth and professional development of Jews of Color.

We are proud to be one of ten recipients of a Cutting Edge Grant 2.0 (CEG 2.0) from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, making our LA Incubator possible. The CEG 2.0 provides multi-year awards directed at innovative organizations to “foster creative programming that builds a vibrant and inclusive Jewish Los Angeles, equipped to address emerging issues and opportunities for the future,” JCFLA said in their recent announcement of CEG 2.0 grantees.

To learn more and to stay up-to-date on the LA Incubator launch, including upcoming professional opportunities in the Los Angeles area, please email our Senior Director of Programs, Arya Marvazy, at arya@jewsofcolorinitiative.org and Jade Groobman, our Programs Associate, at jade@jewscolorinitiative.org .
