The entire team at the Jews of Color Initiative is proud to announce that our wonderful Senior Director of Programs, Arya Marvazy, has been selected for class 8 of the Wexner Foundation’s Wexner Field Fellowship! Arya, who joined the Jews of Color Initiative team in January 2022, has grown our programmatic offerings, including running our successful JoC Professionals Network in New York which JoCI also recently launched in Los Angeles. In his role at JoCI, Arya has developed trusting relationships with leaders in the field, expanded JoCI’s engagement with the JoC and larger Jewish communities, and spearheaded our 2023 Leaders Convening.
Developed in partnership with the Jim Joseph Foundation, the Wexner Field Fellowship is a three-year intensive professional development program. Together with a diverse cohort of Jewish professionals from across North America, Arya will grow as a Jewish professional, deepen his leadership skills, and develop a rich community of colleagues.
