TischPDX bolsters the leadership of young and marginalized Jews in Portland, Oregon. This year, TischPDX will create and distribute a comprehensive survey to gain valuable insights into the demographics and interests of Jews of Color in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) region. The data collected from this survey will provide a much-needed, evidence-based understanding of JoC in the PNW, including affiliations, interests, and engagement in Jewish communal life. After analyzing the survey responses, TischPDX will publish the data in a report and host an in-person session discussing the findings and key trends to inform JoC-centered programming. This research is being stewarded, conducted, and analyzed by Jews of Color through a partnership between TischPDX and Tiyuv, which does JOC-led and oriented research and evaluation.
